Adoration

What is Adoration?

Adoration is when the Blessed Sacrament is exposed on a small altar that is inside the adoration chapel.

A schedule has been set up so that the Blessed Sacrament has at least one adorer present continuously during the hours that the chapel is open. Each adorer signs up for one hour per week. Visitors can come and spend any amount of time adoring Christ, praying and spending quiet time in His presence.

The Perpetual Adoration Chapel is located at St. Isidore's - Delaware Bend.

Chapel Opening Hours

Open: Sundays 6 p.m. - Tuesdays 11:59 p.m.

Wednesdays 6 a.m. - Fridays 1 p.m.

Hours may vary due to holidays.

What is in it for me?

Many graces flow from prayer. This is an opportunity to spend a quiet hour with Jesus present in the Holy Eucharist. You can say a Rosary with no distractions, read from a selection of excellent Catholic literature or just spend quiet time with the Lord. Many people find this a time to re-energize their faith and to develop a deeper relationship with Jesus.

How Can I Take Part?

You can make a visit any time during the week. You may also like to sign up to cover one hour per week. If you cannot commit to a regular hour then perhaps you could be a substitute adorer.

If you would like to assist us in this most worthwhile ministry by covering an hour as a substitute adorer or as a regularly scheduled adorer, please contact
