2nd Annual Men’s Conference will be held on February 25, 2012 at the Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne. It is being sponsored by the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend with the Most Reverend Kevin C. Rhoades, Bishop of Ft. Wayne-South Bend Diocese promoting this event. This conference of Catholic men seeks to grow their relationship with God and asdisciples of His Son, Jesus. The theme of this year’s conference centers on leadership. The Church needs men of faith who are not afraid to be leaders in family, culture, and society, men who lead others to God, especially by their witness of faith and virtue. There is a great line-up of speakers including Tim Staples, born and raised Southern Baptist and former Marine who heard his “Call to Lead” after being challenged by a fellow Marine; Robert Rogers, who lost his wife and four children in a flash flood and heard a call from God to lead others from darkness to His divine light; Fr. David Engo, who walks around barefoot, wears a brown robe and takes his vow of poverty very seriously. His speaking style is charismatic and sure to keep your attention. The Conference is for one day only from 9:00 a.m. to the 4:00 p.m. Mass with Bishop Rhoades who is a dynamic and engaging individual whose homily will serve to close the powerful and grace-filled conference. Registration is $35 for Adults ($25 for Seniors/Students) Deadline for registration is Feb. 18, 2012 You may also register online at www.RekindleTheFire.net
